The Walk and David Choi

Friday, July 1, 2011

Salam et bonjour,

Hmm...
Trying to make my words simple.
According to my title, I'm going to cover two parts.

David Choi
So, i went to David's first ever showcase in S.E.A
It was at the Bentley Auditorium near IKEA.
It was the nearest and easiest to go to compare to UCSI from my place.
This year, David Choi's was my first concert/showcase.
Yeah, missed a whole bunch of concerts.
So, i went with my sister and thought we were early.
I convinced her that we were late actually that she argued that we were early
enough to get the best seat, and once arrived
it was a total spiral long line in front of us. To make it funnier,
when we arrived, i had the dejavu of being in the same situation;
watching Twilight Saga incident. I asked my sister,"are we the only old folks here other than the deejays and David himself?"
So, we, were being laughed that being two un-overly
dressed adults were wearing jeans, shirts and cardigans
*what would we wear if to were watch a closed showcase?*
while the kids were wearing short shorts, a 12 inch thin heels
and sleeveless shirt to cover it with chiffon shirt.
It ended up the opposite way, we laughed back at them that the hall was freezing cold.
I smiled and noted that to dress at the right place and time.
So, the show started with Hunny Madu introducing her new album and sang two songs
and then it was David's time. It was the best acoustic show.
He sang some of both of his albums that i have recorded.
Unfortunately is not that clear.He sang some of my favourites;
Weightless, By My Side, That Girl, Wont Even Start,
Love, Always Hurt, Windmill, and Something to Believe.
One of his latest song is You Were My Friend.
A guy-girl best friend relationship that ended up not with each other, instead
with another people.
Well, i can say that most of his songs are slow songs and yet related to everyone
who experience love and relationship.
The night ended with smiles and grins on each people coming out of the
auditorium, singing back some of the tunes together while the couples hold on to each others hands tight and blushing to each other.
Thank God there were no P.D.A.
If there were, i think i myself will give a lecture
since the couples are bunch of minors.

Well, as much as we enjoyed the show,
we were pretty annoyed with the people behind us that i can say
that they were bunch of wannabe-s that they felt
they were obliged to go to the show since everyone in school were going.
They ended up quizzing each other with the 10 commencements.
My sister were about to give a lecture and reminded them
that the bible study should be discussed in the morning
*since it was Sunday* but decided not to cause a scene.
To pay a RM80+ ticket just to sit there and talk is such
a waste that right after the show and when the lights were
on again, not only the two of us looked who the noisy kids were,
but the people around them as well. And some were
saying out loud,'oh, those are the kids
that were noisy, eyh?' the kids went quiet and quickly
exited before the normal lines.

The Walk & Family Day
On the same day of David's showcase, it was the family day for Kuantan people.
It was a success that almost 500+ participated.
Lot's of line-up activities happened that everyone were eager to be there.
The day ended with people cleaning up the beach area that for the first time,
it was really clean that there weren't any trash at all.
I was amazed. Unfortunately, we could not participated.
Then, there were the walk at Bukit Pelindong since the family day was a success.
This time, it was participated by 1000 Kuantan people.
It was crazy that there massive crowd at the starting point of Bukit Pelindong,
cars blocking the roads since people quadruple parked, police were
everywhere and hundreds of summons were out that day.
Now they are going to have some events at the beachsides with Kites and breaking
the Kuantan cinema record by buying the whole one hall of cinema to watch Transformers.
It was kind of cool to see Kuantan people being together and have fun
that i can say it is the rarest thing to happen after 23 years been in my own hometown that
i can say most of people would agree with this.
Sometimes it's good to see these things to happen.
Someway, it would create a healthier and friendlier community, i suppose?

I think i'm feeling a bit speculated about some of the Lynas issue:
a) One of the person that has been interviewed is in the age of 20+ that has been offered
RM10k as a starting salary which remarkably high enough for a fresh graduate unless you are a
total highly recommended that produced a total massive new thing that he can offer to the company

b) The locals that has been chosen to be interviewed are from the wrong group of people and they decided not to cover about the solidarity

c) Please do not mess up between rare earth and nuclear plant because they are not the same

d) IEAE approves the corporation built

Sometimes, people chose to be nasty with the feeling they have advantage which they don't.
Whereas, it is better to let alone this kind people.
And move on with life.

Ok, i am out.
See you when i see you.

Being Nocturnal, Zombie are the 'IT' thing

Thursday, January 27, 2011

Salam et bonjour,
How is it going with everyone?
Been absent for quite sometime.
I apologize for that.
I needed a breather to gain my writings back and my work to kick-off again.
Yeah, it was hectic *quote-unquote*. And thank goodness it paid-off pretty okay at the moment.
And the phrase that really haunts me for a moment would be " if only, you were early".
I have been working on my final project that led me, in fact, the whole group of the department to a zombie-like life.
Hehehe!~
That explains my sleeping disorder that is slowly recovering to a normal timezone.
Before this week, to be precise i had a bad experience of sleeping that i could sleep more than 12 hours straight, and then i couldn't sleep for the next two days.
Most of us (ID department) could stay awake almost 48 hours
and have naps in between at least 30 minutes around 2 times in a day.
Quite a record, and if all of us starts to do work, we will be awake until the the work is done that leads to more than a day or two or more. So,whenever we could catch Z's,we would really doze off like there's nothing in the current space and time matters.Hahaha!~
It sounded as if we have no life, but it's better not to have life now than REALLY not having life later on.
That's one of my belief of life.
So, recently i had slept well. Too well that i dreamt of weird stuff.
In fact it was weird enough that the first thing i said to myself once i woke up was "what the hell?" And the worst part is my state of consciousness due to the input into my brain that i received from watching too much of tv shows gave an effect to my dream.
I dreamt of David Caruso and Adam Rodriguez (Yeah, the CSI Miami people).
I guess it was because i watched CSI before i slept.
It involved the one cheesy liner by David Caruso and his shade *do not under-estimate the pawah of H and his shades!!!* , the yelling sound and the intro, and a bunch of running, boat chasing and worst part of all, there were a whole bunch of crocodiles, though in Malaysia it's pretty rare to see one except in the zoo and i do not expect to have it's presence at the back of my yard since i live by the beach. And from what i know, i do not think any of my neighbours have any crocodile as their pet *all i know one of them have a farm of animals at the side. =.=" And my late father's friend who actually had a pet crocodile at his home that he put in the middle of the house area that looked like glass room for the guests to see. It was heard to be thrice of the size of A normal asian male. Thank God for the thick glasses window that was installed*
And back to my dream, it was awful and a lot of running involved. It was tiresome.
Thank god there were no gang banging or so.
=.="

What else?
Nope, this post i would not talk further of my work.
I'm still looking for the right thoughts to write about it.
And yes, i'm reaching the second last of the short stories of Nocturnes by Kazuo Ishiguro.
:)
*doing the happy dance*
I can say that the book is about the world that revolves with music.
It does not have any thriller, murder or any blood sucking killing thing *BTW, I think that i am SO NOT into vampire-ish type of genre, maybe because of too much of Twilight in the limelight made me NOT wanting or trying to read things regarding vampires-like stories*,
but it has the serene and smoother side of life that most musicians would understand and appreciate. I like the flow of the stories, as there isn't anything that rushes to the end and it connects to each other that is either metaphorically or obviously stated. It was like the writer said to the reader,'now,go figure' at the end of the page. I can say that i got addicted reading it since usually it took me almost a month to finish a book, but now i got like another 20 more pages to go and i read it almost a week. Now, i am worried i am out of stock of books to read here in uni. My last resort is to read an e-book which i find it rather emotionless. You know that when you read newspaper, you want to have the smell of carbon, the taste of the crisp paper, the colours of every pages, and sometimes the misspelled words or misprint edition that you cannot undo since it has delivered to the whole nation. That is the same feeling for me for reading REAL books. Though it's user-friendly, and ecologically safe to use e-book, i think i stand with the old schools, books are better, plus it cannot hang, ERROR 404, or out of battery. The least that it can do to you is the page have torn, blank pages or loose the whole BOOK due to poor packaging. And then, you can hear me screaming to the shop owner. I remember when i was hyped about Harry Potter's 5th book, the Order of Phoenix ages ago that i saw a poor printing of the book *or to be exact; pirated version of the book* the local bookshop owner showed to us that released earlier than it should be. I was pretty mad that i persuaded my sister to get the real one with the best grandfather story that involved the future generation to read the epic book and such that i had campaigned for. Hahaha, and in the end i got the real one.And back for my quest of looking for books, i turned to e-book at last since my funds for books is done for now. Currently in my list of book, i am reading the classics like the 'Little Prince' *it's one of epic classic to be read for every child. From what i know, it's an english/french literature book that everyone needs to read at least once* & 'Les Miserable' *I've seen the book in my sister's bookshelf, and guess what, the font size is the same as the Lord of The Rings Books that might make a person cry. Size 7/8.Would you read it? I LOTR, I skipped and watched the movie instead* It's not too late to read the classics. I think i have been too caught up with the current time that i tend to not appreciate the past of the classics. That reminds me that Bourne Trilogy is a MUST read book since it gives more detail for all of those who loves action, spies and adventure-like genre.NEED.TO.GET.THE.BOOK!!! Huhu!~ How about you guys? How many classics that you guys have read?

So ok. Now i am out.
DFTBA

Hey you.
Happy Belated Birthday!
Naeui hwangjangnim, Kangin-shi!
He has the same birthday with a friend; 17/1.

I'm still waiting for confirmations of his next year tour.
I'm still crossing my fingers!~ Anyone care to join?

And...

The boys are back.
Not only one, but in groups!
I miss Han and his coolness.
:)
Still in dilemma if i want to see them in the cinema or not.
We shall wait next summer!~

Salam et bonjour,
Hahaha!~
Gotcha!!!
But before I explain what the heck(anyway, heck is a more approriate than the word that starts with 'H' that rhymes with 'bell', though i don't know why people say that heck is considered rude than the other word).
So, how is everyone?
Hope the best for everyone.
Awal Muharram *the new Year for Muslims* has passed,
the mid term break has passed and I can't recall any
public holidays has passed.
So, I'm blogging again.
:)

So, 'what's up with the title?'
This answers it all
The Ultimate A.S.S.Hole that I have ever met.
It's a short movie created by WFP and NigaHiga with the
well known Arden Cho* you can recognize her from the Korean iPhone
First Meal CM.
It's been awhile WFP kept the distance from the last short movie they did & WONGFU Weekends,
and then, they released the movie. To tell you the truth,
they released the movie the same day they did the screening,
but we only get to see them 20 minutes later.
I did wait for the movie to release.Hahaha!~
In one of the scene, NigaHiga or Ryan had a fight scene with
*secret*.And oh,man! That was TOTALLY AWESOME to Ryan fight.
He looked totally like pro-fighter and real.Hehehe.
I can't tell you guys what's the story entirely until you see it for yourself.
But I can tell you about a guy saves a girl! cliche but with it's own twist and style. As Ryan always says 'Teehee!' that sounds like chuckle.
Not to worry, it only take you 30 minutes of yours to understand my phrases down there.
Phrases that i picked and like;
"It's the opposite of over, it's under!"
"Nobody calls me DUMB! *Stump stump stump*"
"Your my father?"
"Your my daughter!" "But, you look so old" "But your mum was so young!!!"

Speaking of WFP & their alliances, as the past post I stated that i watched The Amazing Race until Kev and Mike were out. However, i did have dim light
of hope on having all girls to win this season, and yeah, it did!!!Hehehe, and yeah, it was THE DOCTORS!!!Yeay to them!~ And to make it more interesting
next season begins in February 22nd, & it would be THE AMAZING RACE : SECOND CHANCE AND KEV&MIKE WILL BE PARTICIPATING...AGAIN!Double YEAY!!! Hahaha!~
No wonder his tweet was to watch the last episode!~

And other youtube sensation that i have watched and started to follow is the VLog Brothers, Hank & John Green. They ARE nerds AND they make NERDS to be cool and created a troop name that fight worldsuck,"NERDFIGHTER".
Some people think that i'm one of the nerds, and some think that i'm being normal human being.
So, yeah, i can declare myself to be a nerd that i love my current own space and time.
Now i can conclude that being nerdy is all cool and they rule the world!GAHAHAHA!~ *Not to mention that ANN of ANTM 'tis year cycle who was being called GIANT & nerdy has pwnzzzed others and took the title ANTM!!! So, how's that for sweet international victory?*They're the best vloggers that doesn't do stupid and lame jokes, most of them are common sense, mathematically & scientifically proven jokes
and yeah, does have context in each videos and i have learnt something. If only these people exists back in schooldays so that it wouldn't be that boring in class. As people think these bunch of people are geeks
with no life, they are indeed just normal with hundreds of commrades and millions of views. There are a few youtube vids that i really laughed the hell out
and was trying hard not to be laughing like a mad person in the room.
1. Advised to be matured enough & think it as biology class as to watch this
2. Rotating Mozart Head
3. How To Do Everything
4. English Education and Embarassments - it happened to be that everyone experienced this. And for extra embarrassing points, i have a sister who teaches english.
5. Total 'Facts' That We Actually Believed It Before
I think there are a whole lot of vids from them to be watched. These are some that i currently find it smartly funny.
And so, viva la nerdfighters!!!~
Don't Forget To Be Awesome!!!
Hehehe!~ Yes, i wish i could be one of them.

The Agar-agar word was derive from our malay linguistic word by means
"Agar or agar-agar is a gelatinous substance derived from a polysaccharide that accumulates in the cell walls of agarophyte red algae." -Wikipedia
Yeah, it has be renown to the world of the malay term.
And yeah, I'm proud of having that term in dessert dictionary.

For any REALITY SHOWS, i have finished watched Top Chef : Just Dessert. It is the first season. It was pretty intense, and everything looks good.I mean really good and tasty.
I have sweet-tooth for desserts.*It was a downer for me since they didn't do any creme brulee or eclairs, though*Hehehe!~ My favourite character is the winner himself,YIGIT.He is a turkish that migrated to
America. I think all the ladies would be as heartbroken as mine was as
i finally found out he is gay.Hahahah~ He looked pretty normal for a handsome man that i could not find any traces of his status except that
he has pretty face.*Koreans and Japanese celebs have that feature but they're straight*GGaaaahhhh*. But i still like him.My second favourite character is Erika though
she couldn't make it to the finals. From overall episodes, my favourite was the final three, which they did mini dessert cafe. If only there is more dessert cafes like that
and there isn't any hesitant to barge in like a little kid in a candy store.

There are a few desserts though made me happy and somehow proud of my own country that our dessert
has acually go global. :) And to be more interesting that the judges liked it. Well, all i liked it. All i know that usually Australians love to use dessicated coconuts in all of their
desserts, and i didn't know Americans can accept the crispy and creamy taste which i find it weird. The ffeling of the show overall? It looks as if it's project runway. But they have the rapid-fire challenge that they need to win immunity.

Ok, I think i need to stop.
I can feel that my stomach is currently starting to ache due to too much of food intake and
ice.
=.="

IDENTITY CRISIS ! HATE IT!!! It's NOTsome!!!

Salam et bonjour,
Posting twice in one day.
:P

Whose feeling stoked?
I know i am!!!
This time around, if SuJu isn't happening, the only gig I'll be heading is
DChoi's.
Still for waiting for any news in Malaysia for his tour. I want a pair of tickets for his show.
If not i'm coming down,babeyyhh!!
So, who is he?
He is David Choi.
A Korean American indie singer that doesn't want to sign
with any huge labels for album making.
He's the first time i ever heard that he wants to be indie which i find it kind of cool.
I want to buy his albums and i'm still searching.
Maybe i'll try looking at the one shop at KLCC or just make order from HMV Spore
because for now I know his album selling like hot pies in HMV Spore.
Huhuhu!~

I really like him and his songs. His one of the silly guys *like YoShiStyl3*
who is talented. Personally I think he's like America's Faizal Tahir *though that type is comercially overly trafficking in the music scene* but he is one of the people that i will potentially follow his music updates like Scott Yoshimoto and Paul Dateh that i have started to take notice as well as Kina Grannis and Julie Zhan.
Speaking of Julie, it's a must to watch this vid that i stumbled into
while reading my usual feed of AngryAsianMan.
Gahahaha!~
Back to David Choi and Faizal Tahir story,
who says i don't listen to Malay songs?
Which reminds me that i haven't gotten myself a copy of Faizal Tahir's original album.
=.=".
I think there is no reason not to like David's songs.
My favourites from the second album are :
Deserve To Be,
So Weightless, *SO IN LOVE WITH THIS SONG*
Better You,
This Is The Way,
What Do You Know

And by second thought, the whole album is my favourite.
:3

Had watched ep 15 of RunningMan.
Yes, I did squeal like heellll along the show.
I think my room-mates were aware of that incident
* sorry guys!*
And yes, I like Tony Ahn since i saw him in AllKpop after being
discharged from military service.
Sadly, I do not know any of H.O.T songs to really really like him.

ONE WAY - RAINY DAYS
:)

Giving luck to MMU Paddlers for the dragon boat competitions.
I'm still in sores and aches all over the body.
But, i got my chance to paddle again after almost 6 months not to be
at our 'playground'.

Drawing some red lines and there's no reason to be in this side rather than the other

Salam et bonjour,
What's up people!~

Finally!~ I have the chance of updating my blog.
Huhu!~

It's the end of me of watching 'The Amazing Race'(AR).
Huhu!~
Don't get me wrong that i watch everything but, I don't really watch everything.
I just watch anything that is under recommendations or by my own consciences.
I only watch the season 17 is because of Kevin and Michael Wu.
Yerp, sorry for AR fans, I'm being bias for them only.
I have been a fan Kevin or known as Kev Jumba in Youtube ever since i have watched 'Funemployed' featuring him and Phil of WFP.
Since then, i followed him and other bunch of Youtube stars.
But ep O7, they were out, due to breaking some rules.
It was sad, then the next week, Mallory & Dad were out of the race.
They were my last hope to win, and now i'm changing my game plan by having another
best couple to bet on; the Doctors.
Still crossing the fingers for them.*Geehhh, still pissed on Jumba group being kicked out of the league*

Haa, watched the current Glee.
OHMAIGOD!!!~~~
GWENNETH PALTROW IS BACK!!!!
Yes, I like her and her actings.
And yeah, the latest ep is DAEBAK!!!~
The songs are sooo epic!~
And yes, Gossip Girl has Tim Gunn, Ivanka Trump and DVF!~
How superb this seasons of series can be.
The Good Wife as well has started.
But, 2ne1 TV season 2 has ended.
As well as WongFu Production has ended but has started their fall tour in the States.

Speaking of Youtube Stars, I have stumbled on another group
of Production House.
The JubileeProject.
It's started with Jason alone, then comes his brother Eddie and friend, Eric.
It's a production house that creates videos for fund-raising.
They did fund-raising by counting the video views for each video costs 20 to 30 cents per view.
So far they did a lot of funds and getting positive results with a lot of money.
They also did some collaborations with ordinary people to come up with ideas to fund-raise.
I remember watching a young lady cut hair for a charity organization, by donating the hair and created a rave in the internet to do the same,
then there is also "Sweets for Streets" raise Sweet Cube Philly, a company that sells treats via a dessert truck. I think it's the best deeds ever.
Giving sweets to a stranger to make others a better day.
:)

I am currently listening to Far Eat Movement.
The first time i heard bout them was when Fast & Furious:Tokyo Drift era.
It waas long time ago...I know.Hahaha.
Not in the movie, but in the OST. Their song was 'Round Round'.
*Was really crazy on Kazzer from Italian Job Soundtrack at the same time*
That was the time I started to love their beat. :)
Then, after awhile, I heard about them back when they debuted in the International Secret Agent (I.S.A.) Concert. Since then, their songs were used multiple times in various famous series. The first was Gossip Girl Season 2/3. I can't recall on which episode.
FM has conquered the iTunes chart for weeks ever since they released their famously
"Like A G6". And was being labeled as one of the best Indie group that conquered iTunes and Billboard for weeks.
That explains why the national radios has put with the song in the radio.
Anyway, was happy for their next single that they collab with Ryan Teddy of One Republic.
Before they released the mv, I knew that the song would be a hit.
a)Since Ryan is a seriously good singer and the best collab with anyone
b)The beat and the lyrics are superb, the beginning though the MV is a bit...err...okay I guess.
So, here are three totally different versions that I love to share with everyone.
I love all of these guys!~
The Original
The Acoustics Duo that keeps Looping in my list
A bunch guys doing the spoof that bring me to tears of laughing like hell

Oh, i got a shirt from a fellow friend-slash-roommate.
She went to the AFAX(The Anime Fest Asia) in Spore.
She went there for a day.
Unfortunately she didn't get the chance to go to the SCANDAL since it's later at night.
I didn't get the chance to go since i got my MUET exam, and yes, my elders
wouldn't let me. They actually freeze every activity that i tried to get on or constant negotiation t due to my FINAL year.
*That is another reason i think my final year is like hell, less hobby-like activities. Only restrictions for work. Gaaahhh.I know my life is boring, there's no need to inform that again*
But, i got myself a souvenir, a ANISONG shirt from her.
The only singer that i truly like is NOPE, NOT AKB48. [=.="],
but Scandal.
Yeah, the JROCK all girls group. Their songs are quite nice. I knew about them ever since in the
K-On OST. Then, my friend tole me about they doing the Op of Bleach
*Yeah, it was like long ago they did the Op and i just discovered since i'm still stuck at 100 something episode [>.<]* I've seen a K-On game in PSP!~ But I don't have a PSP. I think i'll try to insert the game inside my nephew's PSP once he got the hands of his own. :P I'll snap a pic of the shirt in the next post. She said it's the best shirt in the fest since K-on shirt has sold out. There were Haruhi's shirt, but i'm not a fan of hers. Her last resort was to buy Anisong, though i'm not so a fan of any anisongs. Just a few. So, ok I think i'm out for a moment. :P Thinking of watching marathon of F&F, and Italian Job the Oldies and the MarkWahlberg, Charlize Theron's version. Out, anyeong! Salam Aidiladha!~
To all Muslims around the world!~ This week, what did you sacrifice for? Welcoming a fellow friend/roommate in the blogging world!~

Salam et bonjour,

Hehehehehe.
My holidays seems to be too long that i tend to be lazy
to update this blog.
Well, it will be over for the next 2 weeks and will be back holiday-ing
for another two weeks.
So, from calculation of a friend @ internmate,
my holiday for this semester is 7 whole weeks.
:)
For the first time i have felt quite a long break that i AM totally satisfied with the ULTIMATE holidays
like i used to feel back in my school days,
though I didn't go down south to visit the children
this time.
They're having their exams soon.

So,
SALAM AIDILFITRI
to all muslims of the world
and
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MALAYSIA
to all malaysians.

I know it's kind of late to wish but, what the heck.
Since we celebrate our nation twice this year;
a) National Independence Day *Malaya era on 31st Aug 1957*
b) The Malaysia Day *The Day MALAYSIA was born on 16th September 1963*
Somehow, i feel like our nation has gotten a lot of holidays.
=.="

How's raya everyone?
Eaten a lot of food?
Gotten any duit raya?
:)
My raya this year was pretty interesting.
Far different from before.
Sorry for those who came to our house.Huhu.
The three of us has eloped to another place.
Fortunately, my mum didn't decide on celebrating on our first day at
the malls instead of friends' and relatives houses.
We went to various houses.
From the most further then to the nearest.
From our ex-neighbour to our friends family and to someone someone.
All were the best with different dishes to offer.
Even interesting, that i still received duit raya.
:)
My sister did get a little jealous when i received some from closed
relatives.
My mum did say, 'until she gotten a firm job or finishes her studies,
she would get duit raya from people. So, don't be jealous.'
So, it doesn't matter about size, but it's the age.
My sis is far smaller than me.
Hehehehe.
I'm thankful tho, that i still receive them.

Anyways, recently went to a cousin's house.
She, housbando and wifey together with their children are about
to visit Japan this coming school holiday.
When i heard about the plan, i 'eeekk'-ed and groaned a bit.
They will be visiting Akihabara as well as other places.
Did give some suggestions to her since i have been stalking people's blog who lives in Japan.
T_____________T.
My mum and sis laughed at my different reactions to my cousin's holiday plan.
I did have the intention of asking to buy some stuff from Akiba,
but, i guess i'm too afraid to ask some favour to buy some
Nendos of Keion,King Kazuma and Love Machine from Summer Wars
at Good Smile Company cafe.
It's kinda complicated, you know;
Asking to buy toys for an adult seemed to be a bit weird for some people.
*When i showed to my sis of King Kazuma figure on the net, she just shooked her head*
Loved nendoroids of Black Rock Shooter.
So, after estimation of expenses of those things, i decided that
i would get it on my own.
The prices of yen are still beyond the prices of ringgit.

Currently, am watching Natsume Ono's creation,
House of Five Leaf.
An Edo era anime. This is the first time i'm watching anime that isn't
in the current time *Putting aside bleach*
Different from the moe anime like K-on nor Kaichou-maidsama.
The first impression of the first episode that the colours are quite dull to show that it was
in the old Japan era.
I did read the manga online, but halfway through i stopped since it was quite a bore and
the internet was testing my patience recently.
Same as Ristorante Paradiso, the character drawing is not the typical anime, but the
big eyes feature are still the same.
I can't say anything in particular about the storyline,
as i just started watching first two episodes.

Accidentally read K-on last page manga.
Wuwuwu.
:'3
Can't believe it would end soon.
I clicked on a post at figure.fm without knowing that
it was the last page of the final chapter of
K-on.

Out for now.
I want to continue to hunt for some stuff in the net.
Hehehehe.
2ne1tv - season2.

Asians,Asians,& More Asians

Tuesday, August 3, 2010

Salam et bonjour,

How's everyone?
Hope that everyone had a great weekend.
My last weekend was crawling on bed and was accompanied by a box of tissue papers.
I was sick for 3 days since Thursday and slowly on Sunday,I was back in shape except that
i still have my cough and flu.
Been trusting my sister's method on eating a spoon of honey before hitting the snooze button.

Since i was sick, and kept me awake from sleeping all day long,
I explored bits of online stuff and i was amused by a few people.
To be exact, ASIANS around the globe.
Yes, i've been stalking Asians around the globe.
It all started when i was reading news on Koreans and Japanese gossips
and followed by certain v-loggings.
So here are some of the people that i have fallen in love and kept on following
every now and then.

1. WONGFU PRODUCTIONS
I guess i'm the last person to know the existence of them.
Oh, well I'm still spreading their name across
It consists of It consists of three gentlemen; Phillip Wang (the handsome man who hugs almost everything), Wesley Chan (the hot guy who is quiet)
and Ted Fu (the cute furry animal lover and totally pawned both Phil and Wes in a Chinese Interview).
They are the three Asians American and graduates of UCSD.
They do online videos and shorts.
I came across them from Youtbe main page.
Was just browsing around to see some interesting vlogs.
The first video I've watched was 'Give And Take part I'.
They are the cutest as ever! Ted was really cute when not letting go of Spencer and was
playing the paw of Spencer.
*You'll know who is Spencer when you see the vid*
Another reccomendation is 'When Five Fell'.
It struck me back on thinking for the everyday things that we take advantages.
That short made it so beautifully yet melodramatic.
I love all of their creations.
There is another solid reason for me to like them; they're talented.
I am pretty sure that they are trying to bend the rules and stereotypes of being Asians.
As people mistook Asians as the ones with fair skin, wearing glasses and study engineering.
And every Chinese must know kung fu.
You can see how some movies put Asians as, right?
Either the geeks or the Yakuzas or mafias.
=.="
So, there you go, we live the normal lives as other people
and do whatever we are passion about.
'MUST be doctors or engineers' phrase? I think that generation has died out long ago.

2. Danny Choo
So, he's a programmer at Amazon and currently he's living in Japan.
Where did i find out about him? Since ASTRO has been temporarily being placed
at KL home, for a month of July, updating some of series and such on the run.
And so for a month CULTURE:JAPAN by Danny Choo has been promoted in the ANIMAX channel.
Was curious who the hell of this guy to be such famous UNTIL
the pilot was on screen.
The pilot was shown through out South East Asia at the same time, except in Japan.
They got to see it first before us.
The pilot was THE BEST and praying for the next episode.
Since then, i'm following his blog.
Seriously, he IS the ultimate OTAKU that i have ever known in my entire life.
He got dolfie,Figma,Figura, you name it. I mean a lot of them.
Mostly, he placed them at the office.
*i showed my sister that he got those stuff. Before i asked she said no for figura.
I wanted a collection of 'BLEACH' coz i was thinking of buying Hitsugaya-saan.
But she gave me green light for the robotic things.
Was eyeing on Macross robot in his website for sometimes now.*
He likes anime, and cosplay *He's favourite is STORM TROOPER, and he owns one* w00t2!
He also covers the life in Japan.
What i like about him is that he shares his experience on how he stumbled into the
loving-and-wanting-to-live-in-Japan dream.
His journey was the longest to get to Japan but most worth it.
Another fun fact, his dad is a Chinese Malaysian and he always goes back to Malaysia
every now and then and planning to open a company in Malaysia.
So, for those with superb PHP,MySql skills and like what he does, you are wanted by him.
:)

3. Zarina Jani
She's a normal person backpacking in Korea and survived with anything there.
*That's what i like*
A malaysian who lives and breathe in Dai Han Ming Guk (South Korea).
She's one of the best Malaysian blogger who covers the life in Korea.
She has the passion as any other Halyu lovers; K-pop!~
She's living the dream but in reality basis. She taught most of us
about the life there and she got there.
She also tell us the best deals to get to Korea and in Korea.
She went there as a lone ranger.
She has covered all of South Korea if i'm not mistaken.
Aaaahhh!~ I want that!!!!

So, ok. I'm out for now.

Saying happy birthday to a blogger and a best buddy since primary school friend,
NEYRA!~

Salam et bonjour,

It's a Saturday.
Finally, I'm releasing some images of the U-Kiss fan meet.
The rest are in the Facebook.
It took me awhile to look for certain fonts for my watermark as
my favourite font has disappeared out of nowhere.
T___T

There is a story about the fan meet.
I was supposed to go with a friend.
Unfortunately, that person has other plans.
So, i dragged my sister to accompany me.
She asked me if i was ashamed to bring her along.
Yeah, most people would say that it's the craziest idea ever.
But, i said that it wasn't a shameful thing to bring an older sibling for a k-concert.
*I did think of bringing her along when SuShow II was in Malaysia*
She was the one ended feeling small in the crowd of the u-Kiss FM.
The reason i got her to follow me is to show her
the music culture that i am into since both of us are
in opposite opinions about our taste of music.
*It's understandable since i'm the 88'er and she's the 69'er*
And, at the end of the FM,
SHE LOVES THEM!!!
*I influenced my sister a bit on something...finally*
Now, she is the Soohyun bias because she loves his voice.
She also like u-Kiss because they can converse in both English and Chinese
pretty well that she can understand.
And they were nice.
*I wonder if she likes Brian Joo or Tablo if i tell her*
Both of us did have fun.
In the car, we listened to the Malaysian Version of u-Kiss cd and dance along.
*I'm still keeping the Korea version unwrapped*
The u-kiss fever went over for 2 weeks.
Haha!~ I love those guys.

Ok.
So, enjoy the feast of eyes of Ulzzang namja.

B2ast Live Up To It's Name

Monday, June 28, 2010

Salam et bonjour,
I haven't edit any pix of U-Kiss.
Will try to do it as soon as possible.
Maybe by this week will update again.

Went to Beast Showcase last weekend.
It was waaaayyy different than U-Kiss private fan meeting.
For overall, it was ooookkkkaaaayyyy.
For management, it was totally sucks.
We did some experiment before the showcase that led me to falling on the stairs.
I did have three swollen fingers until today.
XD.
I was amused myself for it.
Hmmmhh.
They did have a partition for the VIP and the free pass.
But for the free pass, there should be another divider
to separate the regular free pass and the
ones with the BEAST shirts.
Everyone kept spamming Universal Music Malaysia since 1900 until the next day.
Even during the concert.
It was totally sucks.
Even the securities were pushy all the way.

Then, the guys inside the showcase kept on pushing everyone.
It felt like moshing. And i did shout to the top of my lungs
just to give warning not to push around.
I even almost ate the girl's hair in front of me.
She was shaking her head to the left and to the right.
I did swear to the front saying to stop.
But then, it was okay.
Along the concert, the thoughts inside my mind was
"WTF WTF WTF WTF??!!"

Thakfully, the maknaes' were singing like a BadAss like usual.
I could see Junghyun. His hair has grown longer and cooler!!!
Even DooJoon. He looked awesome and totally handsome.
Seriously.
Anne, and i were together after the concert.
We did not join in the line for the autograph session since both
did not bring the album.
We did sit in front and looked at the maknaes'
beautiful faces.
They have fair skin except Yeosob.
We could see his pimples.
Haha!
We shouted the names. They looked and smiled.
Though they were there, they were not friendly.
Rather, they looked confused, blur and tired.

I guess the management *pointing towards UMM* wasn't
managing the showcase as we hoped to be better off than u-Kiss.
The venue chosen were small to fit in all of the B2auty-s.
The management were sucks.
The choice of dates were too close for B2st schedule,
meaning that the guys schedule were too tight that we heard b4 the showcase
was their first rehearsal *WTF!*

I guess the management on the nite will have to
explain really good to the upperclassmen of Universal Music
for the event as people still kept condemning them
for the unorganized event.
I hope it will be a good lesson for everyone.

I'm sorry to the B2auty-s, i think i'm being biased and likely to join u-kiss!me.
But, i'll be enjoying myself listening to their*B2ast* songs.

Ok, i am out.

Ferrari 599 GTO looks badass as ever!~
An Electrolux vacuum design looks like a Dyson vacuum design.
=.="

I miss the beach,
the wind,
the scent of my home,
the yard,
the scent of acrylic and canvas,
and the Kopi-C.
I just miss my home.
So much.

Finding the Right Tune of Resonance

Friday, May 7, 2010

Salam et bonjour,

MMU's internet is kind of suck.
=.="
All my live streaming shows seemed to be buffering most of the time.

This is something i really want to show.
One of the best design company that i am eyeing on.
The short film is quite interesting and it hits what
the designers and the future designers are doing.
What is design strategy.
Man, the company's buckets of markers are pretty tempting.
Enjoy.

Salam et bonjour,

Pit-stop for a moment.

I dedicate this to my nephew.
XD
*Can't stop laughing!*

*snap shot from One Million Yen Girl*

This is the look of my nephew in 10 years time.
Except this looks will only appear in the morning when he wakes up.
His face will be swollen and his eyes will totally be swollen will be as small as
Moriyama *the guy above*
And this pouting similar when he is sulking in current age.

Hahaha!~
The moment i saw him in the movie, i just laughed non-stop.
Man, both my nephew and Moriyama looks similar.
I didn't notice Moriyama in Waterboys coz been looking at Eita and Takayuki.

Ok, that's it.
Continue with color blinding with my 4th floor map.
=.="

Out and out i go.
Anyeong.

My Life is in Frenzy. Omona!~ Ottoke?

Wednesday, March 31, 2010

Salam et bonjour,

How's everyone?
Hope everyone is all in good shape.
I know i don't.
I've been munching things that i could grab on.
XD

I have finished doing my website.
I'm not too sure if it's ok or it's such kind of crap.
I did not put any of my resume yet.
Because i haven't finish design the layout.
I've seen some of my seniors doing them.
Beyond the best.
But, mine was plain white. It was quite a bore. Oh, well.
Any comments, do drop one or two at the site. I'll be happy to change.
So, here it is:

My Atelier

Been reading about the ELF Vietnam fainted at SuJu presence at MTV EXIT.
Haha!~ That reminded me of the concert lately in our homeland.
Oh, that reminded me that i haven't tell people about my experience, eyh?
It was a total fun.
Overall was DAEBAK!!~~ :))
Well, the fainted part ALSO happened in Malaysia.
But the person i guess faked the 'fainted' part because of SuJu was about to walk near
her to get their attention
or because one of the 10 boys sprayed the water gun to the person
or i'm not too sure.
It was hilarious if to think back.
To go to that extent, it was immature attitude to show to the boys.
But, other hilarious stuff that happened when the boys threw back the gifts that they have hugged all the way.
While Siwon threw his WET shirt.
Until the end of the concert, the t-shirt divide into pieces haven't been resolved.
I just smiled to see them.
I wonder if i did the same thing if i was in the Rock Pitt
and Siwon was throwing his shirt at my group direction.
I guess, it will be a huge war going on there.
Haha!~

So, tomorrow off with another assignment.
Will be studying screens.
Huhu!~ Undecided between two malls to study.
T_T

Finishing the proposal for the assignment and i need to take a nap for awhile.
Lately, i only got 2 hours sleep or none.
=.="
Sometimes i only sleep when i am on public transports.
Sounds pathetic, but trust me.
When you are in my course, you will know how does it feel to be sleepless.

Before i forget.

HAPPY belated BIRTHDAY!
to my two dearest sunbae, yeoja-chingu, unnie-s,
FARDIA, FARISA ZAFFA
Turning 23, and keep on being the fabulous twins!
:D

Ok,
Anyong hi jumuseyo!~
:)

So, in April is the beginning of SuJu fourth album recording.
I remembered the netizens as well as the SuJu themselves confirmed the news.
Hopefully, it will be end by next year.
I want my youngwoonie to be there, can i?

Wednesday, March 24, 2010

Salam et bonjour.
Oh, morning blues that kicks off with cool breeze, which is cool.
Otherwise it will be heat all the way.
I'm finishing some of my assignments.

So, 2 of my favourite dramas *of the 1st quarter of 2010* are ending;

God of Study - Sooro looks cool in there.
It is quite inspirational especially for the school students there since the main point of the drama is to get prepared for their exams. It has broken the stereotype of Korean dramas as the soaps of Asia, and instead having the name inspirational and giving logic and rationality of real life drama. *That is my opinion-lah*

Pasta - Seo Yoo Kyung and Choi Hyun Wook all the way.
First there's Kim San (played by Alex of Clazziquai). Then comes Lee Seon Gyun. And then comes the female character and the food. This drama just tells you the typical love triangle, and the dream of each person in achieving as a good pasta cook. I had a conversation with a friend about this drama, and i can say that i agreed with him stating about Kim San and Alex similarity. Both persons are romantic. For most girls, yes it's good. But for me too much romantic can spoil me, and it would bore me faster. Sometimes, yes. But, not always. I watched him in WGM, haha!~ He was soo ccuuuttee and romantic, but i like reality, like Kim Hyun Joong's or Seo In Young and also Kangin's. It's real! Haha!~

And there are 3 dramas i am waiting for this spring season;
Cinderella Sisters*Taesyeon and his abs*
Personal Taste *Seulong and Minho*
and yes...
Oh!My Lady * naega Goong!~, MinWoo / Siwon-shi. still can't get over him and his abs*

credits to Mili and her camera

Aaahhhh....
:)
It was a memorable evening.
Long awaited of almost 6 years,
that ended for 2 and a half splendid hours.
The sweat, tears, dances, singing, smiles, and blushes.
Shining Star and the Sapphire Blue lights shine through the night.
Oh, how everyone can't forget?
Together as one from 15 000 000 in one evening.
For the sake of the number 10.
The stage was big *sorry SJ Japan ELFs, Malaysia's stage bigger than you guys'*,
and they were everywhere
I shall not regret that day as i witnessed the full stadium with good melody
and sync-ed dances.

Thank you mili, anne, and Super Junior.
Hoping for the next with a concrete number 13 + 2(M's) on stage.
:)

They even sang my favourite song by the end of the concert ,WonderBoy from
their movie 'The Attack of The Pin-Up Boys'.
I can't help my self singing it out loud and danced at the part that i remembered
because it was an old song of theirs.
This movie has made me spotted Kangin first as he looks good in his judogi plus he IS quite strong and he's funny.
XD

Current mood : Just the plain old me
Currently listening : Shuffled playlist *Wonderboy*

Is it pot of EMAS at the end of Proton's rainbow?

Wednesday, March 10, 2010

Salam et bonjour,

It's Wednesday already.
Another half to go before school's starting again.
Haha!
Oh, well, need to speed up in everything I'm doing right now.
Work, work and work like there is no tomorrow.
And that reminded me that i haven't made any calls yet on some
people.
Oh SSSHHHOOOTTTT!~
Monday's coming soon!!!

Not much of info about the outside world since i can't or rarely watch any
news except when i'm out at the mamak stall or at the
foodcourt downstairs.
But, i know Proton Malaysia has produced a concept car called "EMAS",
the abbreviation of "Eco Mobility Advance Solution".
Both exterior and interior of the car left people especially in Geneva Motorshow
with the impressed look as the design more likely to be pro-Europe.
I can say it's a sleek design.
Loves the front part, but it looks better in orange rather than silver though.
And it works with hybrid engine,
but it can work with the Internal Combustion Engine.
*crossing fingers here*
And for all the iPhone owners would love this as there is the iPhone docking
inside the car.
*How about other phone users? HTC or BB owners or just the regular Nokia owners?*
Kudos for the designers and engineers.
But, i'm being skeptical if it comes in mass produce later on,
since the word concept car which means it's still a prototype and maybe or maybe not be in the market.
Usually japanese car companies love to do concept cars like Nissan and it's Urge*the XbBox intergrated joystick (as the stering) and stuff* and Che Det's blog entry of the latest saying it may come in various versions. For the Urge, it will never be out soon enough to convince the ADULTS of XBox lovers nor Nissan fans.
Will EMAS be out soon? Like the ones we see in Geneva?
But, if it's done, i'll be sure that it will be the new era for Proton and i guess it will be
a massive recovery from the massive downfall before.
:)

Then, finally Epik High has released it's latest album. Yeay!
The album is awesome and i just can't stop listen to it from the beginning till
the end. I even put it on LOOP.
On the first few hours they released it, it marked as #20 in iTunes, and by the end of
the day, it got #1 spot for HipHop album and until today the spot seems not changing.
All the tracks are fantastic and they release the first single, RUN.
The teasers and the MV are SICK!
The boys of Infinite*The 'sons' of Epik High* also got the limelight in the MV.
Haa...i miss DJ Tukutz.
One of my usual sites, it has been anounced,
together with Leessang, 2AM and Clazziquai, they'll
be having a YOUTUBE streaming concert in SEOUL this march 20th 7pm which
will be the same date and time for the SuJu concert.
Why can't it be the next day? Why must it be the same day?
T_T

Current mood : Laying back with papers around me

Who is Alex?

Sunday, February 21, 2010

Salam et bonjour,

I dreamt of this person.
A person who speaks fluent english.
A person with cool charisma.
A person who would give meltdowns to any young lady.
XD

It was at a coffee shop where both of us drank coffee *sounds so cheesy and cliche'. XD*

guy : have u ever heard a person name alex?
me : yes, tonnes.(even my name is also alex in virtual world) why?
guy : oh, have u known any alex that can sing?
me : hmm...no
guy : hmm ok.Good.
me : why so sudden?
guy : mmm...Nothing.

He smiled at me and looked down at his coffee and took a sip.
And by then, i woke up by my phone alarm.
I woke up and smiled like a lunatic for a few seconds.

Apparently, the person i talked to in my dream was the guy name ALEX that can SING pretty good.
He's the sweet guy fromClazziquai. But he did personal project as a jazz singer.

How i wish it's true.

Salam et bonjour.

It's coming to the weekend of week 4.
Oh, this weekend is a big deal to most of my chinese friends.
Chinese New Year, babe!
Red packets all the way for those unmarried yet. Hehe!~

Anyway,
I just had my little breaks from work.
I'm back at my sister's crib for the holidays.
My mum and sis made a surprise visit.
:)
And i took my computers and my work together.
So the car looked full and i think people on the hi-way would think that we were
the same as them; going back hometown midnite while the toll would be free.
Haha.

I'm back to my old self, which i sleep for only between 0 to 3 hours a day.
And i sleep at a different time zone, and it makes more difficulty
to communicate with people around.
Even to my eldest at the south. Sorry,Long.
And now, i have insomnia problem.
X)
Well, assignments are getting piled up like small Titiwangsa mountains.
Hopefully,can get through it.
Last Monday did some observations at KL Sentral with CK and Syira, then had dinner
at The Garden.
I got them to eat Korean food
*it all started when i read a few blogs of my fellow seniors*.
Thankfully, they loved it.
Love doebokki. It's ccchheeewwwyyy!!!
And loves japche so so much and the BBQ chicken.
Man, when i stood at the counter, i was hopeless in finding which one to eat.
I end up closing my eyes and pointed at the menu.
Well, it worked and aju masisseosseoyo.
:D
I'm hoping to get another bite of Korean cuisine at some other restaurants.
Any recommendations?

I miss youngwoonie.
It's been awhile he's been out of the public.
:'(
I am hoping he'll be there for this coming concert.

Glad to see him on screen again.

Ok, I need to be starting to do some research again.
