Work = Stability of Life/Perception of Society ?

Salam et bonjour,

Heh, finally I have appeared in the blogging world again. Yes, popping in and out all the time. The only time I could blog or having the 'food-porn moment' is before 0900 or after 1700. But, usually, after 1700, I would lost my internet life to my real life which I have been longing for. Settling down at my home. That reminds me that I haven’t touched my brushes. Even my tumblr haven’t been updated. This made me an urge to at least to write something. Just to motivate myself, somehow. Maybe from this day forward, I will add in some of my OWN personal opinions on life as well as some off entertainment+other stuff reviews in my blog. Well, it depends on my writing mood. :)

So after my last post, i have been busy,working. Harhar. It sound so funny to even type, yet to verbally say it. Kind of crazy. I have landed myself at the company that i interned, and got the job there as 'Octopus', *my term of saying multi-tasking*. At the at the same time,I gotten myself an official certificate of Fiber Optic and Mobile Communication, and i have my own NIOSH card *so that i can become a more efficient ninja*. When people asked me about working life, 'GOOD and the BEST I have experienced!' which is an honest opinion. But there were some questions that i think i would ignore if there is an ignore button; 'Have you started shopping for a car?', 'Is it a small company?' 'How much is the salary?' Those questions usually comes after 'Oh, how many years to go *to graduate*' and before 'Oh, have you gotten yourself a boyfriend?' or 'So, when's D-DAY?'. But, the ULTIMATE question i got from a disclosed name; 'Can i know your salary so that i can send my resume to the company?' This comes to a point that i said to him 'Dude, i don't even ask my boss how much he will pay me, and no, this company is not my uncles to know how much i will make as a n00b' *someone said that the place im working belongs to my uncle. =.=" which is not true * And that person stopped trolling EVER again. Maybe i'm just being ignorant to say that but, as far as i have observed from people's conversation, people don't tell their real salary to other people. It is kind of salary. I don't ask my friends nor my family how much they make. I remembered one of my closed friends stated 'with great amount of salary comes with greater amount of workloads' so from there, i understood pretty much. And the conversation ended there.

So, here are some of my opinion of WORK, my style of thinking: ~

1) Small tasks, big tasks, MEH!~
Like i said in the beginning, i'm the octopus. I am thankful that my elder sister taught me A LOT of things before. Guessing that the unfortunate events led to greater experiences & opportunities. Here i got to do different kinds of work and learn new things every single day. So my rule of thumb, i do not choose tasks, all tasks are important either small or big. Doesn't mean that if i have a degree in ID, all i need to do ID + graphical stuff, or Fiberoptic stuff. There are other smaller things like going to the bank and, dealing with taxes, preparing tenders and even buying food, even counts.*It's what you learn counts*

2) Don't underestimate the power of small company!
Yes, i'm working at a small company. People might think small companies are not famous, and MAYBE they're just doing nothing. In order to go big, one must start somewhere, right? I think working in a small company is FAR better since intimacy yet communication among staff is better. Not to mention, navigating work is easier, since everyone can do everything except for ACCOUNTING. Thus, small companies have the tendency of experimenting so that one can discover the company's potential. However, this company has gotten a good clean record that i salute that one time, i went to bid a place for some electrical work in town, when we introduced where we were from, people went 'Ooohhh' and i could hear some chatters when we were seated. From there i could see that the company has been known among the small community one of influential

3) $$$ is not always the real deal!
This comes back to the first one. Maybe i'm being skeptical to others since i don't really think about how much i make as long as i have some in my account. I am thankful enough for what the company has provided to me. A working space, with awesome-internet-to-be access, 8.30am-5.00pm, and after 5 of total relaxation of going 'nge-teh'(tea session) with friends & family, paying the bills or hiking at Pelindong, or cruise near the beach or just laze around at home reading books or finishing artwork. The ULTIMATE life that i think i long for when i was studying. However, for designers, we/they work around the clock and that explains the sketchbook in the bag. *I don't really understand the concept of mental-block* So, when i said i have the best time of my life, trust me. I am having fun, though some can't stand the fixed schedule. I think i can live with that for now.

Maybe, i take my life too easy that it sound ssooo surreal. Well, i chose that path to appreciate things around me & love what i want to do for the time being. Being trapped in the social perception has been a fear for me ever since i've been born. People expect you to study in primary, secondary school, then study like hell in uni, have a boyfriend afterwards look for work, then get married and have kids. That's the chain & pressure of life that most people i know stop having REAL fun. I got scared for not getting a job loonngg before and the only person jobless since most of my friends have started working right after graduating. Well, work = stability of life.Correct, no?

However, I'm one of those people trying to break the chain, living a life and not minding boyfriend-less. That's my own way of thinking. How about your perception of your current working life?

So, for now, i bid farewell.
:)

I'm intrigued by the new interface of Blogger. Super clean and friendly.
And, the music from my headphone transports me Kinokuniya kind-of-feel.

And i am jealous of Cyberjaya residents for having a drive-thru Starbucks!!!

Salam et bonjour,

2012 is here!
Yeay!
Another new year!
Older and wiser.
I hope.
But, i guess my way of kicking off new year was with something that is not
fabulous as Blair or Serena. and it is not close enough to be similar to anyone normal
as well.

WARNING! FOR THOSE WHO ARE EASILY FEELING NAUSEA PLEASE DO NOT READ THIS! SERIOUSLY!

For a week i have been having stomachache that i became 'fond of' the toilet bowl. It began on the Christmas day that i was back at home lepak-ing and watching the tele. But, before that i had my heavy breakfast with my mum and sis at Paparich *yes...Paparich is now open in Kuantan. I guess people of Kuantan REALLY need more variety of coffee shops that most of us ended up at the same place and eventually will become friends due to our coffee addict and to just lepak* So, we skipped lunch since the breakfast portion was pretty large. During the holidays, as usual, Astro would broadcast marathons of shows. Last Raya, was Wipe-out, then Deepavali was the Amazing Race 17 then this Christmas was the Top Chef Masters Season 2. Since i have watched the second half of Top Chef, i recorded the first half and watched them non-stop for four hours straight. I thought i could hold onto that record since i did that when i was in my uni years. While on the 5th ep, i stopped for awhile to have a glass of water. But, when i stood up, i felt the ground was in an unbalanced mode that i was swaying. Same goes with my hands that i failed to pour a glass of water. The water was all over the table. And before i knew it, my sister handed me a pail and i threw up pretty badly with her commands of saying like 'Ok,Good' , 'more', and 'one more time' *even my brain & body listens to my sister to know when i should throw up while i was insisting*. So that was when my sister told me 'Too much of Food Channel, can be hazardous' I could not understand how i became that sick that i did not feel hungry at all. My sister said that 'it is a psychology thing that when you watch too much cooking shows, your brain will say that you're not hungry since your brain has been fed with too much of 'graphical food' while your stomach says otherwise'. So, in the end, we went to a restaurant and again ate dinner just to recover what came out.

Then the other incident was back on Friday night that the three of us went out to eat to celebrate of our family friend from her work expedition in Oman *starting to think what & where to eat when the other two comes back?* It was a night of celebration that we had full 3 course meal which was worth the jammed pack of KL and money except the crowd of Business Dinner Buffet at the other side which was pretty loud. =.=" We changed seats to a new section, it was pretty quiet, and enough light that the place has been closed. Since my mum have the big license of having difficulty of hearing as well as the dangers of sitting at the edge that might have tendency of falling, they opened a new table for the four of us. Our meal started with Garlic Bread, then with various pasta, and ended with Tiramisu and mini pavlova. I still can imagine those food. :) *Still puzzled of where should i bring those two.=.="* And we arrived home in a pretty happy mode that the food was delicious and everything was going good until later that night that my stomach started to grumble that i ignored until in the morning. After the subuh prayers, the stomach started to grumble again and i used minyak kwan loong. The most powerful ointment that we have bought so far.It is best used during period pain. And as the week before i drank gallons of plain water and then i went straight to the toilet to throw up again. This time it became intense that i went back and forth for several times. I could not eat any solid food that i would end up going back to the toilet which was sucks =.=" My mum said 'thank God, what you ate last night was good and you did not threw up last night. If not, it would be a waste to have nice dinner and threw up within a few hours,'. I tried to recall what i ate until i saw kueh at my nephew's place that i realized the only thing that the others did not eat. I ate kueh in the morning at the office. T_T The tiny little kueh has given a full blown effect of going to toilets for several times and making me sick just by looking at certain food. For sure, for now, i am avoiding things that contain milky and creamy stuff. Even jackfruits and potatoes are banned for now, while eating anything soup-y and bananas are my trusted friendly food for now.

And i ended up skipping my friend's Engagement Party but went straight to my nephew's house for aid on that Saturday. My nephew's wife cooked Briyani and Lamb Curry. I could only feast my eyes and not my stomach. But, there will always be a next time.

So, on the next post. I'll be posting the series i have been watching.
So long.... :)

Oh, and did i say tumblr is addictive?I think i have been warned.

Salam et bonjour,

Hi!
I'm in and out,
and i'm mobile.
But, it's ok.
I love it.
However at times, i still miss my hometown.
I guess that's usual.
Met a friend that finished his masters and he told me
'If you beat or drag me out of Kuantan, i'll make sure
i'll crawl back to Kuantan.'
I just laughed and said 'well, my case, where's the money is,
I think i'll be there,'
'But you'll come back, right?'
With a smile,i answered,
'Definitely'.
:)

I am pretty regretful for not posting any new pictures
of the new McD at the beachside.
But, my friend took some of them. Can't
The McDonald has joined the 'dark force'.
It looks more professional *no more bright colors :'( *
and up-to-date.
I went this one time, drive-through,
the walls were full of lines due to the space between the wall and the car is too near.
So, the lines were created by different heights of side mirror of the cars.
It looks like the one room where you want to recognize which criminals with the lines
of heights as the background.
So, from there, you would know what kind of car has gone through the drive-through.
To be exact, the pathway was constructed to be accessible for all cars. It is just the matter
of finding the right angle to enter it and the side mirror of the car will not have any scratch mark.

Then there was another time i ate lunch there with a friend.
And i found an amazing thing that i could not possibly
believe it would be there.
THE DYSON AIRBLADE!!!
Yes, I am all excited this simple item.
I am one of the fans of James Dyson's products.
*Somehow at that moment, there was the
whisper of a sentence 'all you do for ID' rang in my ears.Hehehehe*
I did not see the first time i went to the sink area to wash my hands.
But, the after finishing my meal, went to the sink again, and saw the AIRBLADE.
I did checked out the airblade, but the sink are was crowded with people giving people limited
space, i decided to give in and walked back to my seat.
I never knew that McDonald has turned out to be a total 360 degrees different that
i only believed on the exteriors changes and expansions only.
But, it proved me wrong.
McD TC has became the IT place to be in town other than Kopitiam Kemaman
and Starbucks Megamall.
Ok,
I need to get out.
And start sketching and paint!
But, still stalking any inspirations.
:)

Current mood : I think i'm feeling good. And no, i don't take Xanax.

I Just Missed Your Heart

Salam et bonjour,

Nothing much.

Starting a new self-project of baking/cooking once a week.Kicked off last week with a chicken pot pie, and this week experimented on potato mini pancake, and coffee condensed milk cupcake.

However, I had an intense 2 weeks of going back and forth to the dentistry. One of the place that i feel save and clean, other than that is the clinic and pharmacy. I like the smell of those places. So along the journey,

a) At first i felt like being a python, but after awhile I felt like i'm in Usop Sontorian's shoes, my childhood animation favorite

b) I ate like a cow that i need to chew things using the molar teeth

c) and now i know how botox works.

To be exact, had root canal and crowning. It was painful both on my teeth as well as my pocket but it was a worth. Am very happy with the result. And to what i said above it was rather funny overall than pain. I did ate like a cow, and felt the chills when the teeth exposed due to cottons being stuffed inside the mouth to prevent from closing since the A/C was directly below my face. That time i had feel like Usop's character. I tried to cringe to control the coldness, but i couldn't 'too…much…cottons'. While on the first process, i have been given 4 injections (2 on upper gum and another 2 at the palate). So, the mouth area was numb and that's when i realized how celebrities injected botox into their face except my injection wasn't permanent. During that mouth numbness, i did feel like Angelina Jolie *HARHARHAR* I took some pictures during that time while the dentist was entertaining another client. I wish i could laugh but i couldn't, and so my laugh sounded so flat like 'hahaha…ha…ha…ha…ha'. When people going out of the place looking all white, bloody mouth and painful, i went out like nothing happened and quiet. Yes, i was quiet. The aftereffect took over, my head started to feel dizzy.I talked through scribbles on paper and my first meal was fish minus the chips. I totally cut the fish into really small proportion and stuffed them directly to the back of the mouth.

Yeah, i had downsize my portion of eating that my standard of food was like baby food. No solid stuff as much, and not much of chewing and just gulp-ing everything in every bite.My sister suggested on blending everything which i find it to be more unpleasant to be staring at it and eating it. It was ok i guess, as i decided to eat porridge every single day until i am confident enough. At my final appointment at the dentistry, i heard that a man in mid 40's was scared enough that the dentist to extract a tooth that he said ' just do anything except pull it out' and when the dentist said it is still in ok condition, he was feeling thankful for numerous times like he was just survived from nearly death situation. I just giggled quietly, and for once, i was thankful for being a woman that can restrain extra pain *can't imagine men giving birth* =.="

Moving on.

I have finally watched 'Hanna'.

It took me half year after it was released to watch the movie and i have regretted not watching it in the cinema.

Man, it was a blast. Literally.

The soundtrack was best composed that it reminded me of 70's-80's James Bond movies.

I think it would be my second best movie, and yet my Italian Job is irreplaceable. :)

Hanna is about a 16 year old girl that was biologically re-engineered when she was in her mother's womb to be the best young assassinator with high skills in combat, as well as guns. She was trained by an ex-secret agent (Eric Banna) and her mission was trying to kill Cate Blanchett (the person who proposed the project Hanna was involved unintentionally) and meet up with her 'dad'(Eric) at the place she always dreamt of, an amusement park *sort of the Hansel & Gretel house*. It was odd to hear Cate speaks Hanna Montana-ish American accent since she acted in LOTR, and Elizabeth that gave me a strong mental picture of her speaking pure British. Anyway, back to the story of Hanna. She is also fluent in multi languages that there was a scene she was in Morroco, Hanna impresses me again by talking fluent Arabic with prefect pronunciation. She traveled to numerous countries by foot and experienced a lot of life as a normal teenager and warmth of being apart of a family during her journey. Along the way she experienced different sounds that she never heard of which was the main point of being highlighted by Joe Wright. There shots were pretty clean, but not as direct as any typical Hollywood-y movies. One of the best moments were Hanna escaping the R&D centre through tunnels and ventilations, when she fights; a) sort of like Neo fights with Mr Smith *except for the slow-mo bullet shooting which is epic. No slow-mo's in this one*, and she shoots people without mercy and blinking and doesn't mind spatters all over her porcelain skin face, b) when she shoot Marissa the same way she shoots a moose at the beginning of the movie which was the best!, and finally when she meets Marissa at the amusement park where Marissa was at the Fox's mouth as the metaphor of Marissa for being sneaky at the same time as predator just like the fox. The ending was ok, and the epic statement in this is 'i just missed your heart' and she shoot the person without blinking.

The last thriller movie that i really liked was Kill Bill. It was then. I was 15 and i thought that was THE most real fight scene. But, after watching it again last year in the lab with bunch of juniors, classmates, & lecturers, it was pretty ridiculous and so 'Quentin'. I think his best performance is the Inglorious Basterds to compare with his other work*though i haven't finished watching it.*

So, ok i think i'm out.

Bye.

Happy Birthday,

Odie 4 Kaki!

:)

Little People, Little Minds

Salam et bonjour,

It's been a while from the blogging world.
Been on tweets now and then.
And been surfing the net as seldom as i could remember.

I have been out of context from the design world for almost a month now
which i can say honestly say, that i missed it.
I missed it that i always thought about core77.com or surrounding myself
with markers all over again.
Or just sketch some random stuff.

Right after my unofficial graduation from uni, i have decided to take a break
from everything, the least until raya.
However, i got a job offer that required me to go for a short course within 4
months, which is i'm attending currently and then, working life awaits me.
It is a lifetime experience as i am learning something beyond what i have been
doing the past 5 years of 'killing' for good designs.
I am learning a total opposite of the degree i took that made me need to change
from functioning a left brain to a right brain.
To be precise, switching from a total
design inspirational thinking, being all sketchy and stuff,
to cutting fibers, maintaining
the connection and calculating losses.
So, calculator is the new accessory and numbers are
the new figure to play with.
So, the challenges are really big.
Coming from a design background is really tough,
while others come from IT and engineering.
So it was and STILL a struggle.
One of the so-called meaningful experience so far was
a trainer said straight off to my face when i told him
that i wanted to be an interface designer that not only know
how to design surface of the screen but as well as
designing the fibers connectivity within the medium used to
project the interface. But, the trainer answered,
'Girls do not do all these stuff, they just key-in data and
make reports of it. Only guys do all these,'
For once, i was totally pissed that i ended up asking
evaluation form and just thinking that
this particular person as being so sexist.
If so, this kind of person exists in the industry,
i can't seem to really tolerate as
this person could not find a reason to say
why girls are not allowed to do research and
do hands on work.
All i can say to myself was,
'Little People Little Minds'.
Sometimes i think of people to not
be minding of what they are saying
as to not know who they are talking to though.
And thus, in dictionary, there's the word 'CAREFUL'
exist just to be used in life.
So, be careful of what you're saying,
or you'll end up swallowing your own words back.
As for now,
my prior aims are just to get through the course,
proving that design students are not just design kids,
and get good job.
But the most important part is to work somewhere near the beach.
:)
I still love the laid-back beach lifestyle.

I think i need to stop for now.
I think i talk too much for Ramadhan.

And so,
SALAM RAMADHAN AL-MUBARAK
to all the muslims.
And hope to hear again in the next post.

The Walk and David Choi

Friday, July 1, 2011

Salam et bonjour,

Hmm...
Trying to make my words simple.
According to my title, I'm going to cover two parts.

David Choi
So, i went to David's first ever showcase in S.E.A
It was at the Bentley Auditorium near IKEA.
It was the nearest and easiest to go to compare to UCSI from my place.
This year, David Choi's was my first concert/showcase.
Yeah, missed a whole bunch of concerts.
So, i went with my sister and thought we were early.
I convinced her that we were late actually that she argued that we were early
enough to get the best seat, and once arrived
it was a total spiral long line in front of us. To make it funnier,
when we arrived, i had the dejavu of being in the same situation;
watching Twilight Saga incident. I asked my sister,"are we the only old folks here other than the deejays and David himself?"
So, we, were being laughed that being two un-overly
dressed adults were wearing jeans, shirts and cardigans
*what would we wear if to were watch a closed showcase?*
while the kids were wearing short shorts, a 12 inch thin heels
and sleeveless shirt to cover it with chiffon shirt.
It ended up the opposite way, we laughed back at them that the hall was freezing cold.
I smiled and noted that to dress at the right place and time.
So, the show started with Hunny Madu introducing her new album and sang two songs
and then it was David's time. It was the best acoustic show.
He sang some of both of his albums that i have recorded.
Unfortunately is not that clear.He sang some of my favourites;
Weightless, By My Side, That Girl, Wont Even Start,
Love, Always Hurt, Windmill, and Something to Believe.
One of his latest song is You Were My Friend.
A guy-girl best friend relationship that ended up not with each other, instead
with another people.
Well, i can say that most of his songs are slow songs and yet related to everyone
who experience love and relationship.
The night ended with smiles and grins on each people coming out of the
auditorium, singing back some of the tunes together while the couples hold on to each others hands tight and blushing to each other.
Thank God there were no P.D.A.
If there were, i think i myself will give a lecture
since the couples are bunch of minors.

Well, as much as we enjoyed the show,
we were pretty annoyed with the people behind us that i can say
that they were bunch of wannabe-s that they felt
they were obliged to go to the show since everyone in school were going.
They ended up quizzing each other with the 10 commencements.
My sister were about to give a lecture and reminded them
that the bible study should be discussed in the morning
*since it was Sunday* but decided not to cause a scene.
To pay a RM80+ ticket just to sit there and talk is such
a waste that right after the show and when the lights were
on again, not only the two of us looked who the noisy kids were,
but the people around them as well. And some were
saying out loud,'oh, those are the kids
that were noisy, eyh?' the kids went quiet and quickly
exited before the normal lines.

The Walk & Family Day
On the same day of David's showcase, it was the family day for Kuantan people.
It was a success that almost 500+ participated.
Lot's of line-up activities happened that everyone were eager to be there.
The day ended with people cleaning up the beach area that for the first time,
it was really clean that there weren't any trash at all.
I was amazed. Unfortunately, we could not participated.
Then, there were the walk at Bukit Pelindong since the family day was a success.
This time, it was participated by 1000 Kuantan people.
It was crazy that there massive crowd at the starting point of Bukit Pelindong,
cars blocking the roads since people quadruple parked, police were
everywhere and hundreds of summons were out that day.
Now they are going to have some events at the beachsides with Kites and breaking
the Kuantan cinema record by buying the whole one hall of cinema to watch Transformers.
It was kind of cool to see Kuantan people being together and have fun
that i can say it is the rarest thing to happen after 23 years been in my own hometown that
i can say most of people would agree with this.
Sometimes it's good to see these things to happen.
Someway, it would create a healthier and friendlier community, i suppose?

I think i'm feeling a bit speculated about some of the Lynas issue:
a) One of the person that has been interviewed is in the age of 20+ that has been offered
RM10k as a starting salary which remarkably high enough for a fresh graduate unless you are a
total highly recommended that produced a total massive new thing that he can offer to the company

b) The locals that has been chosen to be interviewed are from the wrong group of people and they decided not to cover about the solidarity

c) Please do not mess up between rare earth and nuclear plant because they are not the same

d) IEAE approves the corporation built

Sometimes, people chose to be nasty with the feeling they have advantage which they don't.
Whereas, it is better to let alone this kind people.
And move on with life.

Ok, i am out.
See you when i see you.

Is it Paradox or Just Being Plain Stupid?

Salam et bonjour,

WWWaaaahhhh....
This is more than two weeks of break from blogging.
More of a month of not stretching my 'magic' fingers *HARHARHAR*, leaving my desktop's keyboard as well
as my laptop's to be dusty.
Oh well, that shows that i have been out of the sight of cyber world.
Anyway,
how has everyone been doing?
Hope everyone has been doing well in life.

I think i can add new jobs in my resume that i happened to experience lately.
First, is to be a gardener that specializes
on cutting the grass. Yes, i repeat. We cut our own grass.
Let's just say that my mum has been looking for perfect cutting of the grass since i can't remember when. It felt like cutting a whole golf course grass with no ends
*now i know why people cut the lawn's grass took two days and the following month i would never see the same person cutting the grass again*
despite the obstacles of stray cats been pooping every 12 hours *God, what and when have the neighborhood been feeding them?!* and frogs jumping from nowhere that made me loose my macho-ness around the neighbors.
The only motivation i had was that time was to loose some weight
which i find it to be an epic failure since the next thing i know
i have been treated ice-cream after lunch.
Hahaha.

Next, i have become the driver.
My elder sister has retired from driving my mum in the morning
to accompany her for her morning exercise and to buy morning breakfast.
It was a good change. It was said that the first thing in the morning
is to see things that are green, i assumed it to be real trees.
During my study years, the first i thing i did in the early
morning was to switch on the computer and see the greenery of new trailers of animes or k-dramas or some k-groups teasers in youtube or some random green design websites.
And now, my view has changed to my neighbour's small farm, and looking down at the lawn to see my sister in her hat and her handphone strapped around her neck listening to loudspeaker mp3 songs while pulling the weeds *her playlist is SO random that at some time i would hear surah al-Baqarah out loud, and the song before is a remix Rihanna's Umbrella or Lady Gaga's Just Dance while the song after that is Naruto's Intro Song that my nephew loaded into her phone.* and the next thing
i know i'm seeing the beach at the side which is priceless *no Baywatch stuff or Hawaii-Five O, though*, and people saying good morning
with smiles wearing anti-Lynas shirts everywhere.
I can say that it's an IN thing to have the shirt.
It's just a peace way to show protest rather than shouting at the beach side
*refering to protest at the TC that happened to be the morning that i was about to head to KL
and they were doing road block at the main T-junction.*

Watched the video of the anti-Lynas and the pro-Lynas reactions and i had some great laughs.
The anti-Lynas made protest at the beach side and the person shot the video focused on a particular guy that was protesting half-heartedly that i kept on repeating at the person's part. The person looked like having mental torture to be in the protest at the same time sweating due to no breeze and the morning sun was right the top of their heads.
While the Pro-Lynas were so pissed that they shouted like madmen with curse words at those people and were ready enough to kick the Anti-Lynas's butts off. Luckily, there were policemen to control the situation.
It was funny though since some of the people I know, in fact most Kuantan people know they come from a well-known as well as educated background family in Kuantan.

It was a havoc issue in Kuantan and it has been a nonstop talk around.
Yeah, the Kuantan people are protesting the Lynas Plant.
It's a long story, but to make it short;
Lynas is planning to make a rare earth plant that the waste of the plant contained huge amount radioactive element that might cause major effects.
*It is heard that the Lynas Corp rep. refused to turn up at special conference*
To make it worst, the location of the plant is made at the industrial area of Gebeng that is already contaminated that it has been declared to be chemical and petrochemical industrial zone.
I once went there and it was really bad that it is major different from my area that the trees were thin like in Cyberjaya *it will always look thin if you go the first and the next 10 years visiting the same spot again*, while the grass are yellow and dead-looking and if you're wearing
white shirt, it will change colour to yellow after 15 minutes sitting around the area. Trust me, i've seen the colour transformation myself.

If i were to ask how would i respond to this issue,
to the right mind i would say it is a huge wrong of having this plant that it affects the
residents around Gebeng that the air has already been massively contaminated.
However, I am still trying to understand the real situations of both sides
that made me always think of one question to be dumbfounded and no one to answer;
"How all these started?"
The next thing to be concerned is the effects of any decisions for the future of Pahang in all
aspects, which is to be heavily and well-studied.
After all, the people are fighting for both rights are not any normal people.

I think i'll stick like the old schools.
Just protest in a peace way by just wearing shirts.
In a way, it's a walking advertisement just to make
some awareness for others that this may be a real deal.
I think this is a more civilized way, energy-saver as well as faster
to send the REAL message to the public.

Ok, out.
Need to update some of the work stuff.

Salam et bonjour,

I am alive.
And counting the days.
That's the kid's pot that i am about to use for my final year project.
Will be writing positive stuff rather than emo-tional stuff in the next 2 weeks time.

So far, through process of finding the green(FCM colour) finishing line:
a) I learnt that karma do and always exist.
b) The insecurity of a person is revealed through condemnation, anxiety and envy towards
other human beings which i find it to be disturbing.
c) Patent in design is totally important.

That's life.
Thank you.

Salam et bonjour,

FYP Countdown : 28 to D-day
People are busy with FYP nowadays.

I think that i have cooled off that i am able to think straight.
It took me like within 24 hours to put myself in the state that i can think in a rational and logical state.
To put it in a way that i am the least person to be angry at things and i think my closest friend back in secondary school (until today), RAY (and my elder sister) would know that better than others. Really.
I miss my friend.
She's also currently finishing her studies in order we could graduate the same time.

There's another person, that has been a part of my life since all of us were kids including his sisters and he'll be graduating first.

The only time i could meet both of them either back in Kuantan or when the three
of us are on semester break.

Hehe. We rarely talk on the phone. Need not to say on the virtual world.
It's a no fun thing.
Hahaha.
We like to make and look at our dramatic facial expressions,
that we still did it.
Again.
I think i miss these people.

Anyway,
back to the main point;
Zen is always the key. That's me.
To be specific, expressionless.
I am the person that REALLY DOESN'T care
and i do not give a damn to any BS of things.
Intimidation is not my thing. I don't get intimidated by anyone around me.
And i DON'T care.
I have been that way since birth.
I don't like comparing my work to anyone since i believe everyone has their own abilities and
good at that not everyone is the same.
I only care and ONLY COMPARE MY WORK with the ones that are well known and beyond awesomeness in the
CORE 77 Magazine or Yanko Design.

But, at some point the table has turned and i think that my bubble has burst.
Hey, I'm human.
I am not dumb or a robot.
At this critical moment,
All i need is to be away from the intimidation as well as self-proclaimed THE BEST.
I dare say that i am not a good or in the dean's list or the master of universe.
I have the collections of the alphabets in my transcript.
My mission in studies now is a pass since my course is a total B....
Not to the extent of my loser-ness on not getting any 'A'.
Do i have to claim how many A's i have?
Because i have. But to the matter of how many, i am sure i could not beat of the first class honours.
I think i am the least in complaining about my grades neither does my family.
If i get good or bad, i would be saying it in total expressionless way.
I don't receive any scholarships or loans for the past 5 years, so expectations were high, so does the course.
*It's a long winding story that is a bore to tell reason i didn't get those*
But, life is hard. I did what i think the best and i can say i consider myself as an
average design student. And guess what?
my family is OK with that.

Note that
Please do not go bitching to me
in terms of work ethics, our similar muse, designing,
or any freaking intimidations
because i don't give a shit.
At least not to my face.
At least not right now.
Please.
And please do not test me in this state.
All of us are stressing out.
Everyone needs a space.
And, a reminder
we're in different lines of life.
This is a beg.
Really.

This entry is a bit personal.
Call it massive whining, but i rarely massively whine in public entry.
Again, i apologize.

Out.

Current mood : emotionless *only mentally prepared for work*
Currently listening to : Go Back, Rich Girls -Le Castle Vania Remix *totally out of my league but i listen to it anyway.*

I Am Screaming for Ice Cream...or So

Saturday, April 9, 2011

Salam et bonjour,

What's up?
Been totally invisible in the blogging world lately.
The long hiatus is because that i was too lazy to write whereas i had
loads of things to talk (write) and share about.
Was busy with my Final Year Project.
I guess my room has become some sort of hotel room which i just goes in to sleep
and read and watch trashy stuff
and the 1006 until 1009 labs have become my new place to hang out/work
and my staple food has been downgraded to loads of junk food and
chicken rice.
*We, the delta ID students were a bit jealous after hearing that the juniors will get a proper
lounging room with a proper coffee machine and snacks and a testing room for users in the
near future for future delta students.*
=.="

Anyway,
in this blog i'm going to do some reviews on books and food.
:)
Sorry that there will not be any images this time because:
a) i accidentally deleted my photo files from camera. It was 0300 in the morning, i don't think i was in the right mind since it was a total tiring day
b) It would make my page heavier since my page itself is heavy already *had this
debate from a close friend since she, herself is a famous blogger. Trying to follow
her advice*

So, i'm kicking off with the latest buzz of the town; Dr M's book.
A Doctor in the House.
People called the book as another controversial book.
=.="
Is it because he writes it himself and it's about himself?
*Dyson also write his own autobiography, so what?*
And it all comes down to one.
It's his book and his money.
He doesn't care.
So, why care?
The first day of selling, it reached 5,000 copies sold.

After countless times i went to Kinokuniya,
and yet i haven't got the chance to read some bits of the book.
Everytime i went to the aisle, there would be someone reading the
book. (Note that when i went there, there was only one copy of the book that has been opened
for public to take a view of the book).
I did wait to get to read the book, but the person
seemed like wanting to read the whole book. I waited for 15 minutes,
and after that i lost my patience and walked away.
However, i got the price of the book which costs RM100.00 for hardcover.
I'm not sure if there is paperback.
And i think Kino is helping out MPH to sell the book.
There was the MPH stamp at the book.
However, i got the glimpse of the insight of the book when i read a review from
the Star book review on Friday paper late last month.
Well, this guy wrote the review fairly. For some,
people would say that it was an unfair review.
But, hey. It was his own's opinion which everyone should be respecting that voice.
The reason that i want to read the book is that it was one of the books that people
have been waiting and who would not want to read a book from a
person who have been alive for a very long time and involve in the political world since
the World War II to tell the story.
*unless the person lives in ones own world not to notice all about it*
His last book was back in 2008 called "Chedet.com Blog Merentasi Halangan"
Anyway, Chedet writes this book on his own without being interfered by a third party
that would say what to write or not to. It was an honest book, i assumed that
all the contents are from his point of view.
I know that he was one hell of a genius not to mention his extreme stubbornness,
that actually led to a total different level of economic and technology increase.
The best examples that i could think right now is that when he proposed to have
the KLCC towers, KLIA and Sepang circuit.
Everybody was making jokes about it.
People said it would cause a major mayhem/traffic jams in the middle of KL while building the towers. It did happen, massive jams happened. But, it was temporary. The same incident happened with the SMART tunnel. However, in KL and Sg Besi, has become less of flood issue ever since the tunnel existed.
While KLIA and Sepang was said to be a waste of money and it was build at an old mining
site which was far away from the city and people couldn't find the reason
of the logic of building the Sepang Circuit.
All those paid off.Really. KLIA has been awarded numerous times as the best Airport
in the World, Best Hospitality and the best deisgned airport. Same goes with Sepang Circuit that to be considered as the toughest yet the best track for racing and certified by FIA.
While KLCC has become a trademark that, there was an incident which my mum and sister told
me that foreigners asked where they were from when they traveled. The first word the person said to them was
"KLCC?" or "Sepang? *It pronounced by the Westerners: Se that sounds like "Sir" and Pang sounds like saying Frying Pan with a G at the end*and then they smiled. People used to know our country with "Yeah, the country which is beside Singapore."
He told about his journey in the political career for more than 20 years. From the time he was just a rookie in Tun Razak's time until he became the Prime Minister himself.
So far, that i known about his journey, he also had the best relationship with foreign countries.
I remembered the Bosnia having crisis, and he launched the World Peace organization under the United Nation.
And if I am not mistaken, someone told me about Libya that the only country that could
access in was Malaysia. And only Malaysia. That is why a lot of Malaysia investment
companies such as Ranhill (one of the companies names that i could remember from the discussions) had established their sites there, and yerp, it was load of Malaysians there.
I am not sure if it was during CheDet's time.
He also touched about his family life. I remembered reading an interview with him that he joked about sometimes his wife would ignore him in the car and just talked on the phone with the children or the grandchildren and that his wife is the busiest person he ever met other than himself. He also wrote about having hard times with his only daughter,
Marina in her growing up period * to understand the role of Chedet as the country's important man, and to steal his attention as her father* that actually turned out to be like him. She has the similar characters as him except she's not ruling the country. But like any father, he still loves his kids.
I think that it is one of the must-read books for those whose just want to know how does this man's mind work and how he handles his life, his country and his family. It would be great gift for a father's day.

Then there's this book called
Papertown by John Green
the other half of Vlogbrothers.
He's an author of young adults book and
recently he won an award for his book;
"Looking for Alaska".
I read the papertowns book, and yeah i think the book is the lightest reading
after being stuffing my mind with heavy literature.
Well, this book explains about the journey of Quentin or for short Q, looking for his neighbour since he was born and to be exact his crush, Margo Roth Speigelman.
The book starts with the explanation of the end of meeting between Q and Margo when they were 6 years old which they found a dead man body hanging on a tree at the neighbourhood playground. Since then they never talked until the final year of Highschool
Both had a one night adventure which Q helps out Margo for revenge to her former boyfriend and girlfriends with putting huge trouts inside a car, spraying intial 'M' at the garage door and calling parents telling that their children were making out in the basement secretly and they ended the night with going to a tower that they could see the whole city of Oregon. But, the next day Margo did not turn up at school and the next week which made Q a total guilty person that he end up going on a trip looking for her on the day of graduation together with his best buddies; Ben, Radar the founder of Omnictionary *that explains Black Santa in John's vlog* and Lacey *Ben's girlfriend and Margo's riend since kindergarten*. The ending was some sort of not so a happy ending that people expect Margo end up together with Q. However, it was an ending that Q learnt about himself, sacrifices, hardships and friendships. There was this part that people expect Margo would return on the day of graduation, but i find it to be all crap that thank goodness that John and the bunch of nerdfighteria think about elongating the storyline by the road trip plot. The reader also could slowly see the dark side of Margo as the book starts with the normal, sweet Margo that near ending, the true Margo is revealed. So, it wasn't like any other cliche book that to be expect how the story goes in every plot. For a kid, yeah it might work but for a young adult, it would not work as people expect each book to be different storylines and by the age of 15 teenagers starts to think in another perspective and have different expectations. I think what John writing is a spot on and the book is as good and deserved as to be reviewed by the New York Times and yeah, the book is appropriate that no other elements like the one in GG. *i'm still hoping to get the last book of GG original series that was usually sold out everytime i wanted to buy*
I'm hoping 'Will Grayson,Will Grayson' a colaboration of John and another author, David Levithan to be as good as Papertowns and Looking for Alaska.
I'm still torn either to buy a hardcover or paperback for the "Will Grayson,Will Grayson".

And lastly,
Cream and Fudge.
A new ice cream parlour in KLCC.
I think one of the best.
At first i thought it was like Swensens that they have the service
of mixing the ice-cream like Swensens.
But, then i decided that it is worth of a visit everytime i
go to KLCC. The setup of the shop was very welcoming and the chair was one of my favourite
of the setup. The service was awesome that all of them know their stuff.
If i asked how does it taste or recommendations, they would
explain in detail, which was wonderful.
I tasted the green tea flavour, and yeah it was the best green tea ice-cream
ever. *Sorry, even Haagen Dazs could not beat that*
As all know that, ice-cream is the heaviest milk and fat content. And the lighter would be
Gelato. Dondurma; a Turkey ice-cream can be categorized the same as Gelato. No fat content and taste delicate as gelato *you can find dondurma at Bukit Bintang. I think near the Sungei Wang Plaza, there is this small place selling dondurma for around RM2.00 of price which was 2 years ago*. While for healthier choice would be sorbet *which i find it to be not delicious at all.Well, for health-concerned people would like it. I can't seemed to find the best sorbet so far. I hate coconut flavour the most. It taste like eating ice-cream with plain paper or styrofoam bits in it* Then there is the granita which is the easiest and i think lightest Italian ice cream which is semi-frozen dessert. However, as much as ice-cream to have the heavy taste that could make people bloated for dessert right after dinner, i think Cream and Fudge's ice-cream is not the same. It would not make you feel bloated after having a heavy dinner. I guess the ice cream is quite light and all the flavours are good. I had the taste of coffee. And, guess what, it taste like coffee but doesn't have the strong coffee scent and not too bitter like any other coffee ice-cream i tasted. While the waffle is freshly made, unlike other ice-cream parlour like Baskin Robbins. The best part is the spoon of the ice-cream. You know that some ice-cream parlour like Lecka Lecka or Baskin Robbins have small spoons for their ice-cream and the don't fit right in the hands and i seen once someone's ice cream spoon snapped into two; either the ice-cream was hard as a rock or the spoon was made of low-graded plastic material *to be rational, an ice-cream spoon should not easily break unless you feed the ice cream with spoon to a rottweiler that have tendency to bite the spoon off*. Well, the Cream & Fudge's ice cream spoon looks like a spoon; our normal tea spoon but it is plastic. Tough enough to snap *had it tested after finishing the ice cream* and it fits to all hand size perfectly. I think i like it more than Haagen Daazs or Gelato Family or even Lecka Lecka.

Ok,
i think i write too much.
This is due to longing to blog.
I apologize for that.
I think my favourite word for this post would be 'light'
that it appeared more than 3 times.
Oh,well.
Out.

HAPPY & IN ADVANCED BIRTHDAY
to my mother, and my eldest, the other Rs' of the family.
Hoping both the best in health and longevity.
And yeah, to other April

Re-creating History

Salam et bonjour,
It's been raining lately.
How was your weekend lately?
I know that mine was splendid.
I had a lot of fun with my elder sister, though i was in midst of sickness.
It's been awhile that both of us became the two tourists that are clueless with
the public transports that we had to ask everyone at the counter.
A person assumed that both of us are Malaysians that haven't gone back
to Malaysia that both of us described the destination that we wanted to go to him
sounded very peculiar to him and we were speaking a total alien foreign language.
But, we survived.
We had a few mishaps of going to the wrong platforms, chasing after the late train,
running to the entrance of the cinema just to get to see the only movie slot that is
early for us and making the locals laugh for our 'idiotic' jokes.
It was funny that i would survive in such condition since i was heavily having flu
that i could not smell and taste anything and cough like my throat was about to get
barfed with blood and the throat, esophagus, and lungs were about to spit out of my mouth like zombies.
Flu and cough are in season now.
So, it seems that everyone is having those.

Anyways,
I went to the movie Merong Mahawangsa.
I can say that i do not have any complaint.
Seriously.
They really did research on everything and the 3d was awesome.
While the subtitles are far better than the one done by the cinema.
My sister called Merong guy as a sudden-buffed-on-steroid-guy that i find it
his buff-ness were all over the screen. *Reminded me of Jacob =.="*
Craig Fong acted as the admiral of China who is incharge of the princess to be wedded to the
Chinese Emperor's daughter.
It's been awhile to see him act and he looked so old.
He was one of the best actor that i really like.
It all started with Spinning Gasing. :P
He's been off from the entertainment scene for awhile it seems.

Then i went to the Somewhat Different : An Exhibition of European Product Design in Petronas Gallery.
I think it was my first product design exhibition. But, sadly, we could not experienced
how does it feel of the product. in order to know the product,
one must know how the texture feels and functions -"explore using all senses".
There were some of the products that i found it to be familiar that i saw at some of the
design websites.
There were also different types of furniture that i saw.
There was this table that i have dreamt of owning it. It is a combination of bookshelf and office table in white colour. When it comes to European design, especially that comes from
Copenhagen, the price would be really pricy as Copenhagen is be known as the birth of modern design. I watched a television programme in TLC, that this guy would hunt for beautiful
design. I watched the episode that covered the Copenhagen desgin stores. The elements of design is totally top-notch that we could not see any of the designs in any normal stores.
Being in the birth of European design would be a huge opportunity to be explored once one is in europe. For me, it would be a MUST go place before i die, can i?

Yesterday,
I have met a long time friend.
It was a rather pleasant surprise to know that the person
is still breathing and living well.
It was a first time meeting after a year of coincidences that i would say "shit!" everytime i
saw this person. We met and we talked for about 5 minutes or so
to say 'hi'.
I found out that this person is doing fine in life.
In fact better than mine that this person looks good.
I wanted to ask more as now we have a little similarity.
This person recently as a rocking boat that i hoped that this person would not take the matter
quite badly as i know who this person is.
I wanted to be talking as normal as it could be like last time.
There were some talks of the town that i heard.
There were a lot of doubts, but i guess i did not dare.
That is just the usual me. Being plain old me.
We just parted with smiles and we moved on.

The fact that i still miss this person as a friend
that we used to be.
The person reminded me back that it is a reminder that i need .
But, there is this one question that i really wanted to ask,
why did this person approached first and existed in those days
while the others could not care less?
Therefore, it was cool enough to be with this person for a moment
back then.
It changed my point of view to a new way since then.
Thank you.
:)

Ok i need to go.
Catching the Z's.

Still counting the days.
Something big's coming up.
:P

Land of the Rising Sun, for a change

Salam et bonjour,

WARNING, PLEASE SKIP THIS POST IF YOU DISLIKE ANYTHING IN REGARDS OF ANIME AND SUCH COZ IT CONTAINS A WHOLE BUNCH OF THEM! AND NO ECCHI, OR YAOI ANIME FOR SURE.
Hehehehe.

How come the bad one is always the hotter one?
This is pointing to Aizen-sama!
And the captain with best Zanpaktou to end early?
This is pointing to Hitsugaya Toushiro-sama. T_T
For manga, Bleach has ended with the mystery of disappearance of Rukia-sama, and Ichigo has lost his powers, but I have just reached the part where Urahara-san and Tsukabishi-san has been demoted from the Captains ranking in Soul Society *am still curious about Ichigo's dad to have secret similar to Ichigo's*. Still, a long way to go to Ep 300+.

Anyway,
Recently, had the chance of watching Durarara!
One of the shounen anime that I stuck watching. It was being introduced by fellow
nerdfighters and the people in the Otaku.fm.
So far the story line is interesting. I guess the main character would be Celty, the Black Biker
that is in the search of her head. Yes, you read it right, she is headless. So how do she talks? She doesn't, she texts. I guess, she would be thankful for the invention of BBM, or any smartphones. I think that she is a lost soul that is still looking for her head since her head has been chopped off back in the 14th Century or so. In the current time, she helps these group of people; The Dollar, a colourless underground mafia. The group has been recruited by a simple text message saying 'Do you want to join Dollar?'. I'm still in the early episodes to judge anything else. But, i noticed a character of a girl, that Seiji always stalks and calls her 'my love' seemed to be off somehow. Let's just wait till what would happened next.

While, Gosick; which means 'gothic' in Japanese.
It's just the Eng-rish that they did.
So far, it has the sense of Sherlock Holmes-y feel or Detective Conan *since a kid solves the murder except there is no disguise* as it is about investigating murder cases back in the time where women wears dress like Mary Poppins and men wear coat like waiters/penguins with one rounded glasses on one eye; to be exact in the 1924. Victorique is the crime solver while Kujo Kazuya is an exchange Japanese student that met Victorique at the roof of the building in the school that ends up to be her sidekick. The anime is still on going in Japan.
At the same time, there is Kimi Ni Todoke,Second Season *the cute Sawako and Kazehaya pairing FTW!!!* But, I think that i'll wait for the whole season to complete then i'll watch 'em in one shot without waiting to know what happen in the next episode in one week time. *Have the same feeling currently while waiting for the best quality size of Athena, btw, Sung Jung Woo runs pretty funny.*

And also finished watching both BECK and House of Five Leaves.
It took me a while to finish both anime-s. I can say BECK WAS THE BEST.
I even got their OST. Basically, the anime is about a group of guys were trying to sell out their music to the crowd of Japan, and in fact to the US *sound similar to Pop Shuvit's. :) *. However, along the way, there were involvement of Lucille, the guitar Ryousuke 'owns', the death of a singer and Dying Breed. One of the most memorable moment in the anime would be Koyuki sang 'I Got A Feeling' *originally by The Beatles* that brought the group back onto the stage of a backpack-kind of concert*remembers K-on instantly as they experience the same thing*; The Greatful Sounds. The songs that i think stuck in my head would be 'Moon on the Water', 'My World Down', & 'Big Muff'. It's been awhile i've been listening to such genre. I used to and still am a fan of Ellegarden that i end up downloaded their discography. Now they form a new band, The Hiatus, but it seems that the impact isn't the same as their days in the Ellegarden. And recently i listen and tracking down FujiFabric discography. Man, it's been so long I've been listening to these groups after being devoted too much to K-Pop.

And so Nintendo 3ds is about to release in Japan market.
So, does it mean that everything in the vid comes in package?
I apologize for those who have known me long enough,
i have been a total fan of this person ever since his Kindaichi days.
:)

Can I have this poster?
The style of the drawings of this illustrationist reminded me of Samurai Jack.
I think I miss Cartoon Network.
Huhu.

P/S :
It is rumoured that other than Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars and Maroon 5,
COLDPLAY
will be coming down.
SAY WHAT?
When and where are still unknown.

New Year,(Re) New Stuff and Old Resolutions

Saturday, January 8, 2011

Salam et bonjour,

Hello.
It's the first post of 2011!
Anyway, Happy New Year to everyone!~
And how is everybody?
Hopefully everyone is doing perfectly fine?

So,
Everyone is talking about my resolutions, while my resolutions are pretty simple and general.
a) To graduate
b) To get a job
c) To help my sisters out to solve some financial problems
d) To lose weight *yeah,i am recycling this resolutions every year*
e) To be able to open Tabung Haji funds for both my mum and mine

So, instead of blabbering about resolutions which everyone talks about, so today i'm talking about my TOP LIST needed items of the year. This year is the ULTIMATE year that i am needing new stuff due to the conditions of my stuff has broken.I am still collecting my funds and it is still insufficient to get any single new item.

a) Due to extreme fungi growth in the camera i used to use, Canon called in and said that to repair the body of my SLR costs me a whole new camera and they offered a trade-in. Is it some kind of a scheme?I am still wondering. Been using my camera for almost for four years, and the camera was a second hand bought by my brother. The owner before me was an avid sports photographer*that he meant was an avid biking photographer since the owner is also a downhiller if I'm not mistaken, it was a long ago story* I think that he used the camera longer before he sold it off. Anyway,as a substitute i am currently using my sister's normal digital camera. I need to upgrade her memory card as a token of appreciation later on. Huhu!~

b) My 5 years old first Compaq *square 15'' screen that you can throw like a boomerang that would not comeback to you to a dog that will die in an instant due to the weight* laptop has finally went down. My laptop had only one time repair, multiple formats, one time buying new disk, one time buying new battery charger *been using original one for almost 4 years until it got burnt, yeah it burnt inside*, and yes was a user of XP * am not a hacker, nor a programmer, but i like mine to be simple, a friend said that my computer is hackable since i'm using the old school OS*.Thank God i have saved all my work inside my back-up external hard disk. The only thing i forgot to copy was discography of Winterplay. =.=". I think my laptop had encountered a lot of experiences and has gone far enough than the owner herself. It has also being used by different people along the way. My laptop was a clean one that i only stuck a piece of sticker near the Windows sticker; the "ODI" bike grip. I chose that sticker since it was small and it resembles my name except without the 'e' at the end.

c) My PS II that only certain CDs could read which pissed me off until today since i wasn't the one used it excessively. I wanted to repair it, but my sister said that the only person would use it would be me and i would come back home at least once in every blue moon. So it was a waste of money.

d) My wallet. Was given to my last 2 years. My mum says it was a boy-ish type of wallet. There's nothing wrong though it only cannot closed due to my things inside my wallet *not money but papers, to be exact receipts and namecards* I'm still hunting for the right wallet that has been 3 months now. I think that i will still use this wallet until it will totally torn off that i could not fix it myself.

My things that still lasts with me:

a) My phone. Haha, it's a taboo here because i have changed to two different phones last year. My nokia flip phone and my LG Lollipop. I am hoping that it will last more than anything else hopefully. My nokia slide phone *4 years till died* though, has ended it's life but my friend would find a place to fix the problem so that it could be used again.

b)My humongous pencil box. The pencil box was bought back in my first year degree. It was long ago and the zipper is still functioning while there aren't any ripped edges. One thing i like about this pencil box that i even put my compass and the pointy edge did not penetrate through the pencil box and ruin the compass. It can hold more than fifty normal pens and pencils but only 15 standard marker pens

c)My watch that is officially 6 years this coming march! It has changed it's battery for 3 times only and changed it's strap once. I think i would die for this watch since it was my last thing to remember about my late dad.

d)And lastly my one pair of jeans that i bought for myself for the first time. Yeah, it has been 7 years and it has been a long journey of experience with it that i still wear it until today. Yeah it sounded like the sisterhood travelling pants but it cannot fit to everyone but only the people with my type of body size and me. The jeans though had some stain of red acrylic from painting class last year and has the wash off effect but it originally was a boring glaucous blue. Hehe. The only thing that i did was alterations since it's length is long than my legs. Before the alteration, is used to flip it to two or three times, but after awhile it had ripped at the edge, it decided to cut it off. it may trendy to have ripped ends, but i don't find it appropriate and i'm scared if i washed it into the washing machine it will stuck in between the holes. Haha!~ XD

So, there you have it, my old and need to re-new stuff.
How about yours, do you have things to be renew and still keep the old stuff?
I need modelling assg to finish.Huhu!~ =.="
Ja! Mata ne~!

And yeah, this is how i celebrated my New Year's Eve & New Year Day.
One side photoshop, one side Gayo Daejun,y!m tab and browser of Firefox tabs of online journals to read. At the left side was my lunch/dinner with simple illustration on paper for my assignment at the right side.
Kind of lame. I know. It has been this way for 5 years but in different venues and conditions.

How did you guys celebrated your New Year and what did you do on the first day of the new year?
